Mary Dalton and Elizabeth Win (shown Left to Right in photograph) have become cornerstones to our Abundant Table volunteer team as well as kindred spirits. The two have developed a lovely friendship over hours of food preparation in the kitchen. Both Mary and Elizabeth have extensive culinary skills, and their efforts are instrumental to the great taste and polished presentation of our meals. Their work this summer transforming fresh organic produce into deliciously seasoned, sauteed delights was spectacular. Mary resides in Rockland and is the nutrition director at John Adams Nursing Home in Quincy. Elizabeth is a longtime Norwood resident and retired schoolteacher. Both ladies epitomize Abundant Table service. We are so very grateful to them for their sweet spirits, kindness, fun loving personalities and love of our guests.

For over four years, Matthew Parker has been the resident DJ at our Abundant Table dinners. Matthew lives in Norwood, works at CVS and tootles around Norwood on his bicycle (typically carrying music equipment!). Matthew is a musical officinado and spins a nice variety of music each week. Favorites include: "Sweet Caroline", "Hold on to the Nights", "Different Light", and many more! Matthew's music provides a very nice hum, one that adds comfort and relaxation to the dinner hour. People feel comfortable coming in because the music is so inviting. The Abundnat Table team thanks Matthew for his service, and looks forward to what he will be playing next Wednesday!
