Food Needs

Want to Help But Not Sure How?

Collect Canned Goods & Organize a Food Drive

Every week, Abundant Table, Inc. volunteers put canned goods and other such non-perishables on a table in the dining room. Guests are invited to take a few items from this table to help supplement their weekly food allotment, whether it be from the food pantry, food stamps, or regular budgeting. Many guests rely on the availability of foodstuffs on a weekly basis, and given the current economic times, that need is even greater. Furthermore, when we identify profound need within our Abundant Table, Inc. family, guests are invited to “shop in our pantry”, and fill a grocery bag or two with staple needs to sustain them through a difficult time.

Organizing a food drive, saving cans in your own home or inviting neighbors to save canned goods are all simple ways to make a huge difference.

We also rely on the kindness of the community to help stock our pantry of regularly used items. Cleaning supplies, frequently used food products and the like add up in cost quickly so kind donations often help to defray the high cost.
